Lory parrots are a family of parrots from the Southern Pacific and are different from other parrots in that they are liquid feeding birds. Feeding mainly on nectar and pollen in the wild, similar to a butterfly or hummingbird.
In the Ardastra lory parrot feeding there are five different species of lories each just as strikingly beautiful and the next. Here you feed them a piece of apple and the birds fly over to you, landing on you to extract the juices from the apple. The parrot feeding is a great success and is enjoyed by all, even those who are usually a bit wary around birds.
