Ardastra has three capuchin monkeys, a male named Alvin, and two females named Abrigale and Avery. Alvin was once a pet and ended up in the hands of Ardastra gardens which brought in a couple of females to keep him company. Sadly, he did not know how to interact with his own kind and so the cage that they were to live in had to be divided into two in order to seperate them. After many years of living next door to each other, Alvin become more tolerant of the girls and so Ardastra decided it was time to build a large new exhibit and start to integrate them all back together again. It was a success! The Ardastra staff are very pleased to anounce that Alvin, Abrigail and Avery now all share a new, large and very fun new home.
